PLAYTOP® in GERMANY and the UK

Europe's market leader in-situ installed Impact Absorbing Children's Playground Safety Surfacing system for more than 25 years is exclusively available in both countries, following the signing of a contract between long standing partners, the Charles Lawrence Group plc of Newark, Nottinghamshire, England and Playtop Spielplatz GmbH of Wahlstedt, Germany.

Playtop Limited, a subsidiary of the Charles Lawrence Group, is now the owner of the Playtop^® trade mark and already has licensee installers in Bahrain, Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg,  Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain and the United Arab Emirates, as well suppliers throughout the UK and the Channel Islands.

Playtop Spielplatz has for many years been a market leader in Germany and has wide experience in providing safer playgrounds at McDonald's restaurants and at US Military & NATO bases throughout northern Europe.

The new Agreement brings together two partners who first started working together researching and developing synthetic surfacing systems for sport and play in 1975 and the present day Playtop^® system is the fifth generation of continuous improvements?.

Both companies have actively participated in the evolution of their national trade standards and the  European Standards EN 1176 for playground equipment and EN 1177 for impact absorbing playground surfaces and following their introduction have seen a sharp increase in the demand for Playtop^® seamless surfaces. Well in excess of One million square metres have been installed worldwide already by specially trained crews.
