The total life-cycle cost of a play surface depends on its durability and maintenance costs as well as first cost.

The strong, continuous structure of Playtop^® gives it a very long life expectancy and discourages vandalism. The surface also resists abrasive wear and indentation.  We guarantee the safety performance of Playtop^® and, depending on intensity of use, a life of ten to twenty years is often achieved before resurfacing is needed.

Costed over product lifetime, Playtop^® beats both lower-quality wet-pour surfaces (which will need replacement sooner) and loose-fill products, which have high annual maintenance costs.
